Cement rendering
Here's another service that we offer. Mostly it’s external walls that are rendered however, we can also provide this service internally if necessary. It’s simply applying the cement mixture on the wall in order to achieve a smooth or textured surface. It is very similar to plaster however, includes waterproofing and fire rating qualities but, is also used for aesthetic purposes. Generally we would expect this to start ageing and cracking more or less between 7 - 15 years.
Silicone thin coat render
This form rendering is more durable and reliable then the normal mixtures, making it less likely to crack and shrink, especially when combined with an adhesive base coat and mineral. The average life span of this is between 25 - 30 years.
Monocouche render
Monocouche is a type of render that has a single layer or coat hence the name “mono”. This service is a cheaper option then the Silicone service however, it wouldn’t be expected to last as long meaning it would age, crack, or shrink sooner which means in the long run, it could potentially end up being a more cost effective option.
